Manitoba Marijuana Laws?

The other day at school a kid that i new (Kinda) asked me for a ride home , and being the nice person i am i said yes. When we got to my car he put his bag in the back seat , and i smelt a huge smell of Marijuana coming of his bag. I was kinda regretting saying yes .Six blocks later i dropped him of his house . Everything went fine i said ill see yeah later he said thanks for the ride . Now i was wondering if we got pulled over how much trouble would i get in if the cops found Marijuana in his bag, Even Knowing it wasn't mine ?
