Do mild traffic violations get you demerits on your liscence? ?

Ya, you'll get demerit points, and it's not "mild" to run a stop sign! "Mild" is up to 10 km/h over the speed limit, or between 0.5 and 0.8 blood alcohol content, or getting caught by a traffic camera...then you would just get fined with no demerit points.
