Are the Atlanta Thrashers moving to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada?

It's not official yet. Hopefully they don't move. The Thrashers have yet to put a good product on the ice and build their fan base. Also the NHL is trying to grow in the US. Moving a team out of a large American city like Atlanta and sending them to a joke of a city like Winnipeg that most Americans have never even heard of is a suicidal move for the league and their national TV contracts in the US. The NHL needs teams in places like Atlanta, NY, LA, Detroit, Chicago, Boston, San Jose, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Minnesota, Toronto, Denver....not places like Winnipeg, Ottawa, Edmonton, Phoenix, Quebec, or Calgary.
